“Anger is hot coal you hold in your hand while waiting to throw it at somebody.”

“Anger is hot coal you hold in your hand while waiting to throw it at somebody.”

Apt words.

During my long corporate career there have been many times I was angry about something/on someone.

Over a period, I realized that ‘remaining in the state of anger’ for a substantial period affected only my mental health and my performance.

Then I slowly learned (rather still learning) the art of cooling self in those instants and understanding whether the display of anger was needed at those moments.

Over some time, I learned to raise my vibrations at a different level so as not to attract those instances or people in my life.

A very important skill to first learn and then to keep developing.
