During my career, there were many times I searched for perfection and the right decisions and when I could not achieve, I considered myself a failure. In fact, I searched for the same qualities in my subordinates. It took me some time to accept myself and others making imperfect choices or taking wrong decisions.
In one of my last organizations, I slowly started accepting people as they are rather than what they should be.
